About Jody!

Jody Mancuso is a photographer from Long Island, New York, who is currently completing a BA in Photography at American University in Washington, DC. With her extensive dance background spanning eighteen years, Jody’s photographic work primarily focuses on dancers and mental health struggles, sometimes highlighting a throughline between the two. Additionally, she engages in commercial photography practice. Her work has been displayed in various exhibitions across D.C. including The Embassy of Cuba, Klagsbrun Studios, the University of the District of Columbia, and the Katzen Arts Center. With her upcoming job in the Disney College Program, Jody aims to grow her photography portfolio and eventually pursue commercial photography.
